Obituary of Joseph Neil Gleason

Joseph Neil Gleason was greeted into his eternal glory in Heaven by his loving wife, Angela Rose Gleason and parents, Joseph M. and Mae (Lynn) Gleason on Monday, December 18, 2023, at Cedar Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Ossining, New York.

 

He was a proud United States Army Veteran, having served during the Korean War.

 

Joseph was a loving father, grandfather, and friend.

 

He was a longtime resident and member of the Saint Patrick’s Church, Milford, Pennsylvania,

 

Joseph will be remembered for his kindness, he enjoyed fellowship with his friends and family around the table.

 

The son of the late Joseph M. and Mae (Lynn) Gleason, Joseph was born on November 1, 1935, in New York, New York. He was married to Angela Rose (Monteleone) Gleason for sixty-two years up until her passing on February 27, 2018.

 

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Neil Gleason, Jr. and his wife, Wendy, Karen Loeschorn and her husband Ed, Deena Slain and her husband Tim, Sharon Williges and Gina Gleason; grandchildren, TJ Slain, Jennifer Slain, Michael Loeschorn, Matthew Loeschorn, Brianna Loeshorn, Jennifer Montrastelle, Sam Montrastelle, Andrew Gleason, Stephen Gleason, Samantha Williges and Sydney Williges and three great grandchildren, Luca, Gia and Emelia.

 

The family will receive friends from 9 to 10 AM on Friday, December 22, 2023, at Saint Patrick’s Church, 111 East High Street, Milford, Pennsylvania 18337.

 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 AM at Saint Patrick’s Church, 111 East High Street, Milford, Pennsylvania 18337 with Reverend Joseph Manarchuck officiating with military honors.
