Obituary of Howard George Wilson Jr.

Howard "Harry" George Wilson, Jr., 84 of Bushkill, Pa, passed away Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Pocono in East Stroudsburg, Pa., with his loving wife by his side.  Harry and his best friend Ernie Hertler joined the Navy on the buddy system.  What stories they had to tell! Harry worked in Communications aboard the USS Wright. He proudly served from 1958 until 1964.
After serving in the Navy, Harry traveled the world working for AT&T for a few years before becoming a Computer Systems Analyst for the Federal Aviation Administration in Atlantic City, NJ. He was employed there for over 40 years before retiring.  During that time, he was given many awards in achievement excellence.  Harry loved working on computers. He loved history and was an avid reader. Harry was a kind, generous man of faith. Harry loved spending time with his family and friends.

The son of the late Howard G. and Clara (Haehl) Wilson, he was born October 31, 1939, in Philadelphia, Pa.

Howard leaves behind his beloved wife Daria (Kolheffer) Wilson, his children Ken (Johanna) Wilson of S.Nyack, NY, Kevin (Sharon) Wilson of Tuckahoe, NJ, Jean Marie Wilson of S. Nyack, NY, his grandchildren Laura (Tatiana), Alex (Noga), Maya, Sean,  Elizabeth, and many nieces and nephews. Harry was excited to become a great grandfather in the Spring.

Cremation will be held privately at the convenience of the family.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later time.
