Obituary of Raymond David Ditman

A loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle and friend, Raymond David Ditman, passed away on Saturday, November 18, 2023, at Lehigh Valley Hospital – Pocono, East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania.

 

Raymond was a proud United States Coast Guard Veteran, having served from 1958 to 1964.

 

He was a member of Trout Unlimited and a devoted member of the Church at Hemlock Farms, Lords Valley, Pennsylvania.

 

Raymond enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing and was an outstanding woodworker. He will be remembered through the many furnishings he made for his family and friends.

 

The son of the late Raymond and Florence (Mc Vaugh) Ditman, he was born on February 21, 1938, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Raymond was married to Myrtle “Dolly” (Burt) Ditman.

 

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Dolly Ditman; daughters, Allison Ward, Audrey Blinstrub, Leslie Kohnenkamp and Cynthia Crescenzo; son, David R. Ditman; grandchildren, Andrea, Christine, Emily, Stephanie, Christopher, Ryan, Kyle, Kaitlin, David, Emma and Lily; nine great grandchildren and nieces Lynn and Robin.

 

Raymond was preceded in death by his sister, Mildred Walsh.

 

Cremation was held at the convenience of the family.

 

Memorial services will be held at a later date.
