Obituary of Margaret E. Carofano

Margaret E. Carofano, 81 of Milford, PA passed away Saturday, September 16, 2023 at Karen Ann Quinlan Home For Hospice, Fredon Township, NJ. She was a retired Fleet Manager for International Paper. Margaret was a devoted member of the St. John  Neumann/Good Shepherd Parish where she was also a member of the choir.

Margaret enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, as well as her many friends.

The daughter of the late Catherine Miller, and step-daughter to the late Dominick Carofin, she was born December 23, 1941 in Paterson, NJ. She was married to the late Louis Carofano, Jr.

Margaret leaves behind her son Thomas Carofano; daughter Karyn Soltis, son-in-law Keith Soltis Sr., daughter-in-law Allison Levine, grandsons Keith Soltis Jr., Daniel Soltis, and Thomas Carofano, and granddaughter Kristin Carofano. 

A viewing will be held at Stroyan Funeral Home, 405 West Harford St., Milford, PA on Wednesday, September 20, 2023 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. John Neumann Church, Lords Valley, PA on Thursday, September 21, 2023 at 10:30AM.

Burial will follow in Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa, NJ.

Memorial donations may be made to the Karen Ann Quinlan Home For Hospice, Fredon Township, NJ (www.karenannquinlanhospice.org).
