Obituary of Kathy Ann Smith

Kathy Ann Smith, 69 of Dingman Township, Pa passed away, Thursday, August 31, 2023, at Newton Medical Center, Newton, NJ. She was a retired Accounting Clerk for Lakeland Bank, Branchville, NJ.

The daughter of the late Donald D. and Murial (Harjes) Gavoille, she was born on August 6, 1954, in Port Jervis, NY.

Kathy is survived by her husband Howard E. Smith; four steps sons: Jeffrey Smith of Milford, PA, Chris Smith of Milford, PA, Clark Smith and his wife Traci of Pittston, PA, Allen Smith and his wife Annette of Barryville, NY; three brothers: Donald H. Gavoille of Milford, PA, Paul M. Gavoille and his wife Sandy of Milford, PA, Rick C. Gavoille and his wife Paula of Shohola, PA; nephew Michael Gavoille; niece Jennifer Szajna and her husband Scott and their children Christopher and Sarah.

A viewing will be held at Stroyan Funeral Home, 405 West Harford St., Milford, PA on Tuesday, September 5, 2023, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, September 6, 2023, at 1 PM with Rev. Keith Raser officiating. Burial will follow in Milford Cemetery, Dingman Township, Pa.
