Obituary of Carolyn Gail Flynn

A loving wife, mother, sister, and friend, Carolyn Gail Flynn, passed away at home on Friday, August 25, 2023, surrounded by her loving family.

Carolyn worked as a bus driver for the New Jersey YMCA Camps in Ringwood, NJ and was a  member of the Marsch-Kellogg American Legion Post 139 Ladies Auxiliary in Milford, PA.

She had a passion for the outdoors, and often could be found riding motorcycles and snowmobiles. Carolyn was an avid motorcyclist, having been a devout member of the American Legion Riders in Milford, Pennsylvania.

The daughter of the late Howard and Carole (Smith) Paine, Carolyn was born March 2, 1964, in Montclair, NJ. She was married to Stephen Flynn.

Left to cherish her memory are Carolyn’s husband, Stephen; son, James Finlay, and his wife Alli; daughter, Samantha Nehrbass; sister, Joanne Trespass and brother, Howard Paine IV.

She was predeceased by her son Christopher Finlay.

A viewing will be held at the Stroyan Funeral Home, 405 West Harford Street, Milford, PA on Sunday, August 27, 2023, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 9:00 PM.

Graveside services will be held at the Milford Cemetery, Dingman Township, PA on Monday, August 28, 2023, at 10 AM with Rev. Keith Raser officiating.
