Obituary of John Joseph Wroblewski
On Friday, August 11, 2023, John Joseph Wroblewski, was called back home to the kingdom of Heaven. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.
John was a devout member of St. Vincent de Paul Church, Milford, PA. Before that, he was an active member of St Patrick’s Church, Milford, PA. There he served as a Faith Formation teacher, lector and Alter Server trainer. At St. Vincent de Paulhe was a lector and Eucharistic Minister.
John also served his community in many other ways. He was a Delaware Valley School Board director for twenty-one years and also served as its president and vice president.he was involved with the Shohola, Delaware Valley Middle and High School Parent Teacher Associations. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Milford-Matamoras Rotary Club.
When he was not out serving the community you could find John skiing, camping with the family, hiking or reading Ann McCaffrey’s “Dragons of Pern” series. He was also well known for rooting for his beloved Buffalo Bills and Tae Kwon Do. Both teaching and participating in tournaments. John rose to the rank of”Master” earning his 4th degree stripes on his black belt.
The son of John F. and Frances (Kania) Wroblewski, John was born on May 27, 1954, in Forest Hills, New York. He was married to his loving wife, Susanne (Dorniak) Wroblewski.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife Susanne, daughters Stephanie and her husband Vincent, Kristen and Alyssa , three grandchildren, Skyrah, Haiken and Kember, brother, Thomas and his wife Robin, niece Carrie and her husband Kenneth and their children, nephews Billy and his wife Arlene and their children, Sean and his wife Olivia and Brian and his wife Ashley.
Friends may call at the Stroyan Funeral Home on Friday, August 18, 2023, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 7:00 to 9:00 PM.
A Mass of Chrisitan Burial will be celebrated 10 AM on Saturday, August 19, 2023, at the Saint Vincent de Paul Church, 101 Saint Vincent Drive, Milford, Pennsylvania 18337 with Reverend John Boyle officiating.
Cremation will be private at the convenience of the family.
Memorial donations in honor of John may be made to Center for Developmental Disabilities, 101 Pocono Drive, Milford, Pennsylvania 18337.
