What to say….. even though Tom and I lost touch for many years, we reconnected as if it had never happened. I was fortunate to have many years of flying and traveling the world with Tom, and we always had fun wherever we went. Great times with a great man, I’m so happy for having known him and to call him my friend. His love and admiration for you, Patti, was great. Remember the good times and smile.

Tom was a true gentleman. Kind and caring always. I enjoyed working/flying with him very much. The world needs more people like him and it’s a lesser place with his passing

I have read all the many testimonials to Tom .They are all gracious &, I'm sure, heartfelt. But I get the feeling some people may not have known Tom as well as I did. In our formative (college) years Tom often tried to lead me astray. We would stay up late (after 10:00 pm). We wasted away many hours playing bumper pool. We were sometimes very thirsty & would consume an excess of pleasant beverages. Once, we alluded a nice policeman. We shared impure thoughts. And Tom made me do all this. And once, I actually saw him tear the tag off his mattress! Yes, Tom definitely had a darker side!
But, then, as life progressed, Tom changed, and he became the man most people seem to remember. I believe that the love of a good woman had a lot to do with it. Thanks Patty.
In life, if we are lucky, we have friends. If we are really lucky, we also have best friends. For me, Tom was in the latter category. I could never repay the many nice things Tom did for me. I will always remember the many great times we had together. I was really, really lucky.

My husband, Lee, was lucky enough to have Tom as his friend for most of his life. So many memories…..duck hunting on the Delaware, early in the morning, before school. Later on trips to the Chesapeake to hunt, and golf wherever and whenever they could manage it.
Wonderful visits to Tom & Patti in Syracuse. An unforgettable visit from them to us in Connecticut for the Bicentennial. Tracy has never forgotten Tom carrying her on his shoulders back to our home after fireworks at our high school. She was 9 years old.
Tom was with Lee the night Chris was born. Tom took him to Len& Jo’s for pizza while they waited for a call to say that Chris had arrived.
Such joy when Katie was born!
We thank God for a lifetime of friendship with Tom & Patti.

Uncle Tommy always pushed me out of my comfort zone to take on new adventures. He was the biggest prankster, always getting a kick out of hiding behind doors and sneaking up and tickling us. Whenever we would see Uncle Tom, we knew it was time to play!
It won’t be the same without you, but I find comfort in knowing you’re at peace with Katie. I’ll miss you always and love you to the moon and back!
