Mrs McCluskey was my 6th and 8th grade English teacher. We stayed in touch all these years and this year my Christmas card was returned, so I looked her up and found her obituary. :(. I loved her and send my heartfelt condolences to her family. I know she is happy to be reunited with Joe.

Mrs. McCluskey was my 4th grade teacher in 1963 at Wantage School. She was my all time favorite teacher during my school career. Mrs. McCluskey always greeted you with a smile, treated all with kindness and her classroom was bright and cheery. After reading what she accomplished during her retirement, I can sure see how she much see and her husband enjoyed their time together. My husband Jeff and I live in Beemerville and every time I go past Beemerville Garage, I think of Mr. and Mrs. McCluskey. Thank you for being a part of my childhood. You did a wonderful job. Mrs. McCluskey was an all time favorite teacher I had during the 1960-1961 school year at Wantage School. I was in fourth grade. She showed so much compassion and a willingness to make sure her students succeeded. I am now a retired teacher and because of her methodology I knew I wanted to enter the education field also. Thank you Mrs. McCluskey and may you rest in peace. Renald L. Ratti

Ruth and Joe were my neighbors in Matamoras. Both were wonderful people. I visited her a few months ago. Condolences to her family. We had many walks and talks in town. So many memories. All of them good. She was a treasure!

Although it's been 50 years... I still have such fond memories of Mrs McCluskey, as my elementary school teacher and her time spent having her hair done at our beauty salon in Wantage.... Mrs McCluskey was such a kind, caring woman. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends.
