Obituary of Michael David Haskins

Michael David Haskins, 36 of Dingmans Ferry, PA passed away on April 22, 2023.  Michael was born on May 9, 1986, and grew up in Hudson County NJ, specifically Jersey City and Bayonne, and was a Bayonne High School graduate.

Michael lived his life with a love of music, he would take his guitar everywhere he went.  He was a self-taught guitar player, and his talent was like no other.  He could just sit and listen to the music and play his guitar effortlessly.  Michael loved adventure, because of his love of travel he would head out on the road on a whim, to find a new and exciting place to visit.  Michael had an amazing talent of building something out of nothing, and loved to tinker and figure out how things worked, sometimes reimagining what he had just taken apart and build something totally brand new.

Michael, was a loving son, brother, uncle, and friend, and is survived by his loving mother Elizabeth DeRosa and step father Thomas DeRosa of Dingmans Ferry, PA.  Michael is also survived by his loving sisters Maureen Hegedorn of Webster, NY, Beth Haskins of Levittown, PA, his nephews Nicholas Endrzejewski (as Uncle Mikey lovingly called him Nicky Bobby) of Levittown, PA, Nathan Hegedorn of Webster, NY and niece Kylie Hegedorn of Webster, NY.

Michael was loved dearly, and will be missed beyond words and measure.

“Music once admitted to the soul, becomes a sort of spirit, and never dies.”—Edward Bulwer Lytton.
