Obituary of Lois Marie Borner

Lois Marie Borner, 79 of Milford, PA passed away Saturday, April 15, 2023, at home with her husband by her side. The daughter of the late Jessie and Roberta (Paddock) Fabian, she was born on September 28, 1943, in Franklin, NJ.

 

Lois resided in Sussex County, NJ until marriage. Living in Norfolk, VA while her husband served in the United States Navy. They returned to Sussex County for some time. Moving to Matamoras, PA in 1970 and then Milford, PA where she has been since 1977.

 

Lois worked at Custom Shirt Manufacturing Company as a sewing machine operator in Franklin, NJ, Annin Company manufacturing flags in Norfolk, VA, where she helped sew and assemble a giant 50 star U.S. flag, when Hawaii was adopted into the union which was displayed over the George Washington Bridge in New York City. Lois was also an assembler for Sparkomatic, Milford, PA, sales associate from 1996 to 2003 for Kmart, Milford PA, a sales associate from 2004 to 2012 for Walmart, Milford, PA, retiring on March 30, 2012. From 2012 to 2023 she was a secretary for Locksmith Shop, Milford, PA

 

Lois is survived by her husband, William Borner; her two sons William R. Borner Jr of Baltimore, MD and Edward R. Borner of Forest City, PA; granddaughter, Sarah Louise Pieros; sister Barbara Fabian of Highland, NJ and her brother Jesse Fabian of Hamburg, PA. She was predeceased by her son James H. Borner, sister Darlene Decker and brother John Fabian.   

 

Services and burial will take place at Milford Cemetery, Dingman Township, PA and shall be private as this was Lois’s wishes.
