Obituary of Ophelia Brofsky

We are sad to make the unfortunate announcement of the passing of our wife, mother and friend Ophelia Mary Brofsky.  Ophelia ascended to heaven on April 11^th 2023 surrounded by her cherished loved ones.  She will be terribly missed by her devoted husband of 34 years Harry and their four children Karin, Lanie, Ian and Shawna.  Ophelia was also a loving dedicated grandmother to six beautiful grandchildren Angel, Chris, Justin, Elijah, Olivia and Ila.

Ofie as she is affectionately called by her friends was known to light up a room with her beauty, infectious laugh, outgoing personality and her amazing dancing.  There were no wallflowers when she was around as her magnetism would allow her to bring anyone stranger or not out on the dance floor.  At home she enjoyed her gardening, watching grade B horror flicks and making her particularly delicious ziti which she was often asked to bring friend to parties (usually by their kids).  She has touched many lives, and has left an everlasting impression on all who have met her.  She is going to be sorely missed.

A viewing will be held at Stroyan Funeral Home at 405 W Harford Street, Milford PA on Sunday April 16, 2023  from 12 to 2 PM, services to follow at 2 PM.  The Brofsky family thanks all that have helped us through this most difficult time.
