Obituary of Eleanor Sloboda
Eleanor Sloboda, 95 of Bloomfield New Jersey and formerly of Cedar Grove New Jersey passed away Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at Ellen Memorial Nursing Home, Honesdale, PA. Eleanor was a dental assistant for 2 years and a Administrator of Mental Health Resources Center, Montclair, NJ for 20 years. She was a member of the Friends of Bloomfield and Cedar Grove, NJ libraries, ECREA, AARP, Bloomfield Seniors, Cedar Grove Cub Scouts and Monday and Tuesday Watsessing Seniors. Eleanor volunteered at Essex County Hospital Centre, Cedar Grove Teen Coffee House, Cedar Grove School Lunch Room, and Cub Scout Mother.
The daughter of the late Michael and Alvina (Makovica) Bialy she was born September 19, 1927 in Bronx, NY.
Eleanor is survived by two sons Craig Sloboda and his wife Robyn, Keith Sloboda and his wife Heidi Pearl; grandchildren Randi and Ashley; great grandchildren Olivia, Sophia, Charlotte, Keston and Tiegon.
Services were private at the convenience of the family. Burial was in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ.
