Obituary of Maggie Deloise Thomas

Maggie Thomas was born December 3, 1947 to Clara M. Thomas as one of five children. Maggie grew up in Gainesville, AL and graduated from Sumter County High School in Livingston, AL. After graduating she moved to New York City seeking employment and a better way of life. She worked several jobs and retired as a Home Health Aide. 

Maggie accepted Christ at an early age and became a member of Miller Hill Baptist Church in Epes, Al. She later became a member of First Baptist Church of East Elmhurst, New York and was a faithful member until relocating to Pennsylvania. Maggie loved cooking and was always preparing a large feast for her family, especially on holidays. 

Maggie departed this life on Friday March 31, 2023. She was preceded in death by her father, Johnny Allen Sr., and sister Rosa Allen. 

Maggie leaves to cherish her memories, mother Clara Williams of Tuscaloosa AL, (2) sons Edward Charles Williams of New York City, Andre Williams of Dingmans, PA, (3) grandsons, Trevon, Aqeel, Jaasim, a loving companionship George Williams, (5) sisters, Dorothy Coley ( Pastor Willie), Georgia Bell, Sylvia Lewis, all of Tuscaloosa AL, Rosie Taylor of Fort Washington, MD, Barbara Allen Davis (Billy) of Meridian, MS, (2) brothers, Johnny Allen Jr., Willie Allen (Sarah) from Epes, AL, one aunt Viola Miller of Epes, Alabama and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
