Obituary of James Peter Petrakian

James Peter Petrakian, 79 of Milford, PA passed away, Saturday, February 25, 2023 at Homestead Nursing Home, Frankford Township, NJ. He was a retired Parks & Grounds Employee for Somerset, NJ. James was a parishioner of St. Patrick’s Church, Milford, PA.

The son of the late John and Margaret (Fraser) Petrakian he was born October 14, 1943 in Bayonne, NJ.

James is survived by two daughters Amanda Sobchinsky, Pamela Zarwartkay; two brothers John Petrakian, Walter Petrakian and his wife Mary; sister Elizabeth Baker and her husband Robert; one granddaughter and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers Michael and Robert Petrakian and  his sister Marjorie Halko.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Patrick Church, Milford, PA on Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at 10 AM with Rev. Joseph Manarchuk officiating. Burial will be in Milford Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
