Obituary of Christine Karin Mitchell

Christine Karin Mitchell, 58 of Matamoras, PA passed away Thursday, February 2, 2023 at Bon Secours Community Hospital, Port Jervis, NY. She was a Registered Nurse at Orange Regional and Bon Secours Community Hospital for over 30 years.

Christine was committed to family and friends, making sure that all knew of her support to achieve their highest potential. Christine was a passionate animal advocate and enjoyed spending time with pets of her own. She loved to hang out with friends, attend concerts at Bethel Woods, spend summers at Lake Wallenpaupack, and travel to new and exciting places.

The daughter of Francis and Christine (Nottelman) Gordon. She was born September 25, 1964 in Queens, NY. She married Dana Mitchell in 1986 in the British Virgin Islands.

Christine leaves behind her husband Dana; daughter Alexa Hills and her husband Trevor Hills, granddaughter Isla Hills, and grandson due in May; son Connor Mitchell; sister Patricia Lovelace, and mother Christine Gordon.

A casual celebration of life will be held at The Erie Trackside, Port Jervis, NY on Friday, February 10th from 1pm to 4pm.
