Obituary of Daniel Joseph Pilz

Daniel Joseph Pilz, 38 of Milford, PA passed away Tuesday January 3, 2023 at home. He was raised in Shohola, graduated from Delaware Valley High School, and went on to earn his Bachelor's Degree from Kutztown University. After college, he moved to Philadelphia where he began his career in the hospitality industry and became an avid Philly sports fan. After 10 years, he moved to South Florida where he began his career in Real Estate. After a short time, he decided to move back to Pike County, the place he loved the most, and was a part of an award winning sales team with Davis R Chant Realty in Milford. 

Daniel had a knack for excelling at anything he pursued. He was a great cook, an avid golfer, a duck hunter, and an award winning amateur photographer. He loved the outdoors, reading and learning about his hobbies, and music. Daniel was funny, and always had a positive outlook on the days ahead. He was a genuinely happy guy and will be missed dearly by his family and friends, of which he was blessed to have many. He truly was a wonderful son, brother, uncle and friend. 

Daniel was born on September 28, 1984 in Newton, NJ, and is survived by his parents Jens and Angelina, sister Maria Alonso, brother in-law Alex Alonso, nephew Jayden Alonso, grandparents Joseph and Anna Dima, girlfriend Meredith Daniels, uncle Joseph Dima, uncle Anton Pilz, great uncle Anton Pilz and great aunt Louise Pilz.

A viewing will be held at Stroyan Funeral Home, 405 W. Harford St., Milford, PA on Monday, January 9, 2023 from 4 to 7pm.
