Obituary of Paul Martin Sigismondo

Paul Martin Sigismondo, 74, passed away on Monday, May 30, 2022, at his home in Dingmans Ferry, Pennsylvania. He is survived by his wife, Rose Marie; children, Anthony (Jackie), Joseph (Adela), Lori  (Alex); grandchildren Elisa, Luca, Gioia and Zoe;  siblings, Angelo (Debbie), Vincent (Shari) and John (Iris), as well as many loving extended family members.

Paul was born November 11, 1947 the first child of Anthony and Carmela Sigismondo, Italian-Americans of Brooklyn, NY. He was known to tinker with cars and motorcycles, an interest later picked up by his boys. After his school years in Brooklyn, he served in the United States Navy aboard the USS Constellation, paving the way for a career in telecommunications.

He married Rose Marie, and soon moved from Brooklyn to Dingmans Ferry in order to begin raising their growing family. He worked diligently to provide the best life for his children, and instilled those values of work ethic and dedication in them. Paul enjoyed boating and fishing, often spending many weekends out on the lake. He was often found to be the one driving, so that everyone else could enjoy the ride.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 AM on Friday, June 3, 2022, at St. Vincent de Paul Church, 101 Saint Vincent Dr, Milford, Pennsylvania 18337 with Rev. John B. Boyle officiating.
