Obituary of Theresa Lee Pitner

Theresa Lee Pitner, 69, of Milford, PA passed away on May 4, 2022, at Morristown Memorial Hospital, Morristown, NJ. She was a retired Registered Nurse for St. Clare’s Hospital, Dover, NJ. Theresa had a great love for animals and was seen as a mother to everyone.

The daughter of the late Joseph and Rozell (Jones) Mink, she was born November 13, 1952, in Kissimmee, FL. Theresa is survived by her son Wayne Pitner.

Theresa had great love for all her patients for many years and cared deeply for both her family and neighbors. Above all, Theresa was an exceptional mother. She loved not out of obligation but out of pure compassion. She was always the first to offer help and lend advice when needed. She was Mother to many children, though by no relation at all. She accepted anyone by who they were as a person and not by their flaws or past, and treated them as her own kin.

She could brighten your day the second you spotted her and make you feel proud of who you truly are. She shared more love than she had to give and left an impact on everyone’s life. For all of it, she will be truly missed.

Whenever you look up at the sky and see the sun, that is her bright smile looking down.

Family will receive friends at Stroyan Funeral Home, 405 West Harford St., Milford, PA on Friday, May 13, 2022, from 5 to 7 PM. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Friday, May 13, 2022, at 7 PM with Rev. Keith Raser officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial tributes to be sent to Theresa’s memorial fund.
