Obituary of Susan M. Turner

The family of Susan M. (Andrukiewicz) Turner reports her passing on April 27, 2022. She was 73 years old. 

Susan was a resident of Shohola, PA and formerly from Warwick, NY and Providence, RI. She was a loving mother and grandmother. 

The daughter of the late Stanley and Leokadia (Kirejczyk) Andrukiewicz , she was born on September 1, 1948, in Providence, RI. Susan was married to William D. Turner, her lifelong partner and childhood sweetheart, who passed ahead of her on August 22, 2021. 

Susan and Bill had recently retired to their dream home in the Poconos, where they sat on their rocking chairs with their golden retrievers, watched the weekly sailboat regatta, and drank in the sunsets. 

Susan leaves behind two sons, Christopher Turner of NJ and Jeremy Turner of MD and their spouses Jennifer and Marie-Aude Pradal and adored grandchildren Dylan, Cody, and Sebastien.

In her papers, Susan had printed an essay about funeral services and flowers, part of which feels appropriate to share. “Her wishes were clear. Her instructions, unambiguous. In lieu of anything formal, write a note…to your husband, wife, son or daughter, your mother or father. Not a text. Not an email. A note. On paper. With a pen.”
