Obituary of Melissa Ann Carragher

It is with immense sadness that the family of Melissa Ann Carragher shares her unexpected passing, alongside her loving husband, on Saturday April 23rd, 2022. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend. 

Melissa, often called Missy, worked for United Healthcare and had a passion for art and music. 

The firstborn daughter of John Reinhart and Blanca Iris Rodriguez, she was born on December 5th, 1976 in Staten Island, New York. 

She was married to James Carragher on September 14th, 2013. 

Melissa leaves behind her children, Samantha Miko and Michael O’Brien III, whom she shared with Michael O’Brien Jr; loving son, James Carragher; step-children, Jenna Carragher and Matthew Carragher; parents, John and Iris; step-parents, Christine and Alan; sister, Kelly Reinhart and brothers Christopher Reinhart and Michael Reinhart. 

Melissa also leaves behind her nieces and nephew; Thomas, Molly, Korie, Georgia, Dani Lynn and Ayda as well as her adoring granddaughters, Abigail and Melanie. 

Melissa is predeceased by her sister Kimberly Reinhart. 

Cremation was done in private at convenience to the family at MacLennan Hall Crematorium, Milford Twp, PA. 

Memorial services are arranged for 11 AM on Wednesday, May 4th, 2022 at Holy Child Church, 4747 Amboy Rd, Staten Island, NY 10312.
