I was a very good friend of Jack for over 10 years. If I went out in Hoboken, it was extremely rare that I would not be with Jack. We were both in finance so almost immediately had a huge amount in common outside of our social pursuits. I am devastated both because he died way too young but also because I moved out of Hoboken in 2017 and although we had kept in touch, i had not spoken to him as I was finishing graduate school. When I found out he had died, he had been on my list to call and celebrate my graduation from graduate school with and I planned on meeting up with him for drinks when I got back to NJ. I found out about a month too late to attend the service and that will always break my heart. He was a wonderful man, a trusted friend, and one of the people that made our group in Hoboken a valued family. I wanted to offer my condolescenes to his family and make it clear, there is an "empy space" in my life now which will never be filled I found out a couple of weeks ago and am stil lin shock. I take some solace in that I have throusands of memories of great times with Jack and I will now cherish them all the more.
Sincerely,
Harry Russell
