Obituary of Arthur R. Hughson

Arthur R. Hughson Sr., 82, of Matamoras, PA passed away surrounded by family on Sunday, March 27, 2022. He worked as a Truck Driver for Teamsters Local 445, Rock Tavern, NY.

Son of the late Gordon and Ruth (Manning) Hughson, Arthur was born on October 15, 1939, in Greenville, NY. He was married to Carol (Baisley) Hughson who preceded him in death on September 19, 2020.

Arthur is survived by his daughters: Debbie Mady and her husband Mike of Pennsylvania, Sherri Hicks of Port Jervis, NY, Karen Lefferts and her husband Todd of Matamoras, Pa; sons: Arthur Hughson, Jr. and his wife Jennifer of Greeley, PA, Stephen Hughson, Sr. and his companion Angie Gaimaro of Dingmans Ferry, PA; grandchildren: Michael, Chris, Krystle Mady, Tiffany, Katrina, Jamie Hicks, Meghan, Arthur III, Stephen Jr., Tyler Hughson, Kyle, Makenzee Lefferts; step grandchildren: Joe Kennedy, Lenny, Abriana, Gina, Annmarie, Anthony Gaimaro; 31 great grandchildren and his dog, Spanky.

Our dad loved hunting, fishing, family BBQ’s, anything that involved being outside and with his family. He was a huge Pittsburgh Steelers Fan and enjoyed his occasional visits to the casinos.
