Obituary of Joan E. Yanovitch

Joan E. Yanovitch, 77 of Lords Valley, PA passed away Thursday, February 24, 2022 at home. She was a retired Real Estate Agent for Hemlock Sales, Lords Valley, PA and a parishioner of St. John Neumann Church, Lords Valley, PA. Joan had a warm heart, a ready smile, a great laugh and always had a positive attitude. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She loved to read, decorate her house, and spending time with her husband.

The daughter of the late George and Dorothy (Horan) Schollenberger she was born April 19, 1944 in Kingston, PA. She was married to Eugene Yanovitch on May 2, 1965.

Survivors include her husband Eugene, three sons Eugene M. Yanovitch, David Yanovitch and his wife Helen, Christopher Yanovitch and his wife Amanda; grandchildren Alex and Casey Eve. She was predeceased by her brother Thomas Schollenberger.

Friends may call at Stroyan Funeral Home, 405 West Harford St., Milford, PA on Monday, February 28, 2022 from 10:30 to 12:30 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. John Neumann Church, Lords Valley, PA on Monday, February 28, 2022 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Edward Casey officiating. Light refreshments will be served in the Parish Hall following the Mass. Cremation will be private at the convenience of the family.
