Obituary of Michael James Robin

Michael James Robin, born December 19, 1959, in Poughkeepsie, NY died January 26, 2022 in Matamoras, PA.

Anyone who knew Mike knew exactly where he stood on life. His lack of filter and tremendous sense of humor kept us all on the edge of our seats during your time with him.

Mike was an avid outdoors man. Forever hunting, fishing, and trapping. Mike was a skilled bowyer and loved to share his knowledge in all the above. Mike’s love and skill of rock climbing took him across the United States climbing some of the most famous peaks in America. Mike could fix or build anything, and he left those skills to his children.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents Hank and Kate Robin. Michael leaves behind his daughter Katie Robin and her four children; Jo Jo, Bodie, Elly and Henry James born January 27, 2022, his son; Michael James Robin, Jr. a senior at Delaware Valley High School and heading off to Paul Smith’s college in the fall, and stepson; Paul Tompkins and his wife Emily.

Michael, like his father, never met a stranger that he wouldn’t help or give the shirt off his back to. Mike will be sincerely missed, but he left us all a little smarter, stronger, and happier.

Family will receive friends at Stroyan Funeral Home, 405 West Harford St., Milford, PA  Thursday, February 3, 2022 from 12 to 1 PM. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, February 3, 2022 at 1 PM. Burial will follow in Hainesville Cemetery, Hainesville, NJ.
