Obituary of Susan Helen Rogers

Susan H. Rogers, 68, beloved daughter of the late Dick and Peggy Rogers,

and beloved sister of Peter Rogers, Leslie Landey, Jenny Johnson and Kim

Martini, passed away on January 21, 2022 at Delaware Valley Skilled

Nursing and Rehabilitation, in Westfall Township, PA.

Susan was very social and she enjoyed music, coffee and never said no to

a glass of wine… and was a stranger to no one. Susan resided in a group

home in Matamoras, PA., since 1993, where she was cared for by some of

the most kind hearted, loving people, who thought of Sue as part of their

own families. During this time, Sue loved to attend the day program at Pike

County Developmental Center in Milford PA., where she was surrounded by her friends and the staff that loved her so much.

Sue was an angel on this earth and those who were privileged to know her

came away with their lives changed. If you knew Susie, you were touched

by an Angel. Susie exemplified what kindness and unconditional love

looked like. Thank you to all the people who worked with and helped Sue,

as you were so special to her and our family. Sue will forever live in our

hearts and minds with gratitude for all the beautiful memories shared with

joy and laughter.

A memorial service and burial will take place in May 2022, that will be announced at a later date.
