Obituary of Frank R. Giannandrea

Frank R. Giannandrea, 96 of Dingman’s Ferry, PA passed away, Thursday, January 20, 2022 at Bon Secours Community Hospital, Port Jervis, NY. He retired from the U.S.  Army Corps of Engineers, Fort Hamilton, Brooklyn, NY. Frank was a U.S. Navy WW II veteran, member of the Tilgman Angle Smith American Legion Post #851, Dingmans Ferry, PA and parishioner of St. Vincent DePaul Church, Milford, PA.

The son of the late Frank P. and Flora (Caggiano) Giannandrea he was born March 14, 1925 in Staten Island, NY. He was married to the late Columbia (Mascarelli) Giannandrea.

Frank leaves behind his daughter Flora Lord, sons Paul Giannandrea, Richard Giannandrea; six grandchildren Frank, Tiffany, Theresa, Lisa, Vincent, Anthony and two great grandchildren Charlie and Lorenzo.

A viewing will be held at Stroyan Funeral Home, 405 West Harford St., Milford, PA on Thursday, January 27, 2022 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Vincent DePaul Church, Milford, PA on Friday, January 28, 2022 at 10 AM with Rev. John Boyle officiating. Burial will follow in Milford Cemetery, Dingman Township, PA with military honors.
