Dad- Even though I will forever miss you I am so glad your finally free. Thank you for making me the woman I am today. I think of you every morning when I put my scrubs on and remember why I chose to be a nurse. I think of you when I have something bold to say and hear you telling me “Leah Jean, make sure you think before you speak.” Which I think is one of my greatest qualities now. My heart smiles every time someone says cool beans. Life will never be the same without you but I know you are genuinely in a better place now (especially because you can’t get yourself hurt in heaven haha). I love you forever Daddy. Love your little girl.

Although we had not talked in years and the family drifted apart after dad passed, you were always in my memory as my brother. Rest In Peace and say hello to dad

Mark was an exceptional man. Being his friend for just a short while of his life. I sure heard it all from his life. “ What a Wonderful World” he had.
I am so deeply sorry for his passing. He is now on the other side smiling <3
God Bless him and family.
