Berine (aka Mersh) im so happy, amazed, and proud by the life you created in milford and the tons of friends u have made.and who care and lov u so very much. Your milford family cared deeply for u and they sent u off in the style u desirved. We are all blessed to have had u in our lives and our sadness and grief is that we cant reach out and text u, even though u never texted back....Gwen picked out a nice place for u to rest so she can do a drive by.and toss u a coke and lobster roll everynow and then. Ray ray has his straw hat and farmer coveralls to tend ur new ground condo.. Ben misses u but is being well taken care of. You were called to heaven the same day as dad, Bernie senior Jan 14...so thanks for adding that little extra drama. Bernie, my big brotha from the same motha our phone calls were always fun and ended with the obligitory ....bub-eye and the spoken words i love you...i always meant it and i know u did.too..RIP my brother and know u will be remembereed in all our hearts and minds. Death is not an end....it is that state whch we remain in the minds of others Bubb eye bern, I LOVE YA ROBERT AKA CAKE!

I will definitely start by saying Bernie you were an incredible friend and mentor to myself and many others and will be greatly missed. Around spring of 2006 I can remember like it was yesterday laughing and replaying the infamous Gump scene naming all the things we could make with 50k lbs of potatoes from a crash we did on interstate 84. But I will NEVER forget your face when you saw your red Ford in a million pieces while I was replacing the motor and you asked me, you remember how this goes back together and I replied, " I sure hope so" Your face was priceless. until I see you on the other side, save a spot for me.

Bernie and my bus worked together at Con Ed. He was in our wedding party in 1981. Always a great guy and fun to be around. We are so sorry to hear of his passing. He will be missed by all who loved and knew him. Debbie and Tim Gardner
