Patricia “Pat” Giteles, 74 of Milford, PA passed away on December 8, 2021 at Valley View Rehabilitation and Health Care Center, Newton, NJ with her loving family by her side. She was a retired school teacher for Dingman Delaware Elementary School, Dingmans Ferry, PA. With the heart of a lion and Polish pride she fought for almost two years until she was called to eternal rest. She loved her students and they loved her. Family gatherings on Christmas Eve at her sister Michelle’s and Thanksgiving dinners on the Saturday after were events she cherished. She enjoyed fine food, wine and more wine. She also loved to travel. Trips with her sister-in-law, Beverly, took her as far as Italy, France and Nashville. She took several trips with her sister, Michelle, to follow Polka bands, which she loved. A family trip to Puerto Rico with her daughter and her family are well remembered, and her trip to Alaska with her daughter Karen, was her favorite. She will be remembered for her indomitable spirit, a friend who could be counted on, and her benevolent generosity (especially to her Grandchildren).
The daughter of the late Michael and Jean (Cejnowski) Markus, she was born April 14, 1947 in Bayonne, NJ. Patricia was married to the late Raymond G. Giteles, whom she loved with all her heart and is now reunited for eternity.
