So heartbreaking to hear about Carol's passing. Carol Carroll was a truly wonderful and spectacular person. I loved Carol and lovingly named and called her C-squared. I remember when we were on the bowling team at Hamilton Federal that she put C-Squared on her bowling shirt. Just that gesture made me smile and still does to this day. I felt blessed to have known Carol for such a long time and thank God that He placed Carol on my life's path. I can truly say that Carol changed my life and made it better. The world is a much sadder place now that she is not in it. Her smile was bright and infectious and her laugh was wonderful and contagious. I am also lucky that Carol always sent me and my family a Christmas card every year. And she became friends with my wife, Nancy. We both remember such a wonderful friendship. I wondered why I didn't get a Christmas card this year and that's why I did a search and found out the terrible news. While I know her family and friends are heartbroken, Carol touched so many lives that she lives on in our memories and our hearts. Carol, one day we will meet again and I can't wait to see that wonderful smile. John DeJesus

I moved across the street from Carol and her family when I was 8 years old. We became friends and I made my First Communion with her the following year. I was a year older than her. Her family then was like my family as I was an only child and my mom raising me by herself was always working. I spent a lot of time visiting with them and they treated me like family even the aunt and cousins that lived upstairs. We drifted in and out of contact because I married very young. When she moved to Fl. We connected once more. Once she was not well she would text or call me and ask for prayer from me and my Bible Study Women. We have been friends for 70 years and we loved each other

Carol was always willing to help on Highpoint 7 social committee & enjoyed dancing & going out on ladies night. She was a delight to know & she will be missed. My prayers go out to her children & grandchildren. Love, Elena Tiffin

Carol was a good friend of my dad, Richard Goon. She took him to many veterans meetings. She was one of the most caring and kindest people I have ever known. She will be greatly missed.

I worked with Carol for several years at Lutheran Augustana Center and was fortunate to call her a friend. Carol was the sweetest person, the world has lost a wonderful, kind and caring person. My condolences to her two sons and their families whom she loved and always spoke about.
