Obituary of Whitfield Lake, III

Whitfield “Buddy” Lake, 75 of Bushkill, PA passed away, Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at home. He was a retired maintenance worker forGreystone Psychiatric Hospital, Morris Plains, NJ and later Best Western , Matamoras, PA. Buddy loved to take long walks with his dog,companion, and best friend, Butters.

The son of the late Whitfield and Dorothy (Pearson) Lake, II,  he was born March 21, 1946 in Morristown, NJ.  He was married to the late Carol A. (Salitsky) Lake at Sacred Heart Church, Rockaway, NJ on February 19, 1966.

Buddy is survived by six children: John Lake and his wife Christine, Mark Lake, Michael Lake, Angel Almendinger, Sheryl Lake, Kelly Novello and her husband Joshua; 21 grandchildren: Kristen, Mary, Michael, Brandon, Ashley, Michelle, Taylor, Jordan, Promise, Heaven, Rubie, Jossiah, Allie, Joshua, Samara, Makaya, Angie, Natalie, Trinity, Logan and Jameson. 5 great grandchildren, Jayden, Izayah, Cata, Leo and  Arabella . He was also survived by 4 brothers and 2 sisters; James Lake & wife Barbara, John Lake, Sally Hines & her husband Hank, George Lake & wife Kathy, Eunice Delany & husband Rich, and Greg Lake. Buddy was predeceased by his daughter Tracey Marie in 1966.

Services and cremation will be private at the convenience of the family.
