Obituary of Mary McDonagh

Mary (Maggie) Cecilia McDonagh, age 73, of Millrift, PA, formerly of Manhattan, NY passed away at Bon Secours Community Hospital in Port Jervis, NY on November 9, 2021 surrounded by her family.

Mary was born on November 15, 1947 in Manhattan, NY and lived there for the majority of her life.  Manhattan held a special place in her heart.  She loved it along with all her wonderful friends there. Mary worked as a project manager for Staples (formerly Corporate Express) for many years and took great pride in her work.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Sally (O’Malley) McDonagh and her brother Tommy McDonagh.  She is survived by her sisters, Margaret (Peggy) O’Connor and her husband, Donald Rosencrance of Millrift, PA; Ann Guardia and her husband, Vito of Wilmington, NC; and brother Peter McDonagh of Stewartville, NJ.  Also surviving are her nine nieces and nephews, eight grand nieces and nephews and many loving cousins.

A Funeral Mass will be held on January 8, 2022 at 11 AM at St. Malachy’s Church, Manhattan, NY.

Cremation was private and at convenience to the family at MacLennan Hall Crematorium, Milford Twp., PA.
