Obituary of Marie B. Hoffman

Marie B. Hoffman, age 96, of Milford, PA, passed away after a brief illness on October 19, 2021.  Mary, as she was known by her friends, was the former proprietor, along with her husband, Bill, of the Delaware House in Dingmans Ferry.  Upon retirement from the business, she moved to the “mountain”, as she called it.  At the passing of Bill, she moved to Milford, PA, having graduated from Milford High School in 1943.  Mary enjoyed playing cards and bingo with her friends of the Deerpark Social Group and was an avid reader.  She is survived by her three children, William Jr. (Karen), Teresa (Terrance Wilson),  Paul (Jennifer); three grandchildren, Zachary Coll, Justin, Alan; and nieces/nephews, Richard Hoffman (Lori), Edward Hoffman, Sarah Hoffman, Lorraine Gregory, Lee Helms (Jane), Shirley Orben (Ray), and John Wetmore (Vicki).

Cremation was private at her request at MacLennan Hall Crematorium, Milford, PA.  A grave site service will be held in the Spring of 2022 (TBA).
