Charlene was a caring person and a partner to me on cases we worked together. I just received the news of her passing. Dear Charlene, It has been a week since you left me and I will never be the same man without you. My life has changed forever and I cry everyday and probably will for a long time, some folks say write a letter to your deceased spouse and it will make you feel better. There are things I never told you and places we planned to go after retirement but when the doctor gave you the bad news a few years ago it broke my spirit and we spent the last 3 years going for chemotherapy. The last 6 months have been tough on me and the last 3 months have been the worst ever; you we're in and out of Geisinger and MSK and I spent everyday of those last 3 months with you and even though I lost you, I would do that all again; you need to know that. But it never broke your spirit..you fought to the end. Many of your friends from the prosecutor's office and all our cousins came to the funeral parlor as well as all the kids who will always remember you as their "TEE TEE" and I was very glad they did. wherever you are I know you are loved. Thank you for all the great years you gave me. .I will always love you Your husband, friend and Lover LOVE JOE

Charlene always had a smile. She always had a positive and clever saying for every situation, bad or good. She loved to share her knowledge with younger members of the Morris County Prosecutor's Office. I always respected her for her professionalism, kindness and willingness to treat others with dignity. She will truly be missed. God is gaining a great and wonderful angel in heaven. I pray for those she left behind to find peace in her absence.

Charlene (“Chuck”) was “one of the good guys” in our office. She was always a smiling and welcoming friend and partner, but also a tenacious and thorough detective in her duties. I am sending my most sincere sympathies and prayers to you, Joe, who was always by her side and clearly the love of her life.
