Obituary of John F. Dorcas

John F. Dorcas, 67, of Matamoras, PA passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 23, 2021. He was a lifetime resident of the area. He retired from the maintenance department of Selective Insurance, Branchville, NJ.

The son of the late Robert and Pauline (King) Dorcas, he was born on January 27, 1954, in Port Jervis, NY. He was married to Barbara (Holden) Dorcas.

John leaves behind his beloved wife, Barbara Dorcas, his dog Brownie, his siblings Betty Clawson and William, Bob Dorcas and Marilyn, Bill Dorcas and Nancy, Jim Dorcas and Donna, children Jessica Dorcas and Beth (Poyer) Meyer, several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Service was private at the convenience of the family at Stroyan Funeral Home, Milford, PA.
