Obituary of Thomas J. Vassallo

Thomas J. Vassallo, age 88, of Milford, PA passed away at East End Hospice, Southampton Town, NY on Thursday, October 24, 2019.  He worked as a foreman for AT & T in Riverhead, NY, was a faithful member of St. Vincent de Paul Parish, Milford, PA and a member and past Grand Knight of The Knights of Columbus, Our Lady of the Mountain Council, was a lifelong member of the Flanders Mens Club. Tom was a United States Air Force Veteran.

The son of the late Paulino and Caroline (Migliore) Vassallo, he was born on May 27, 1931 in Brooklyn, NY. He was married to Rose (Pallotta) Vassallo who preceded him in death on November 1, 2014.

Tom leaves behind his children, Carol Vassallo, Michael & Millie Vassallo, Barbara & Michael Schwarz, Teresa & Gary Schwarz; 10 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren, along with several nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandchildren, Joshua and Emily Vassallo.

Friends may call at Stroyan Funeral Home, 405 West Harford St., Milford, PA on October 28, 2019 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM on         October 29, 2019 at St. St. Vincent de Paul Church, Milford, PA with Rev. John B. Boyle officiating.

Cremation will be private and at convenience to the family.
