While the words are escaping me all the memories are flooding back. Ellen was an amazing second “Ma” to me for many years. One of the first people I met when we became “neighbors” over 30 years ago. Always kind, caring and a laugh that you could hear for miles that would brighten any day and that you just couldn’t help but laugh with her. She never once passed me by without a “hey girl” or an offer to drive me somewhere. Always chewing gum that she somehow made it sound like it would crackle. Trade off driving me back and forth to the bus stop with Keith, feeding me, making me stay out of trouble, pretty sure she even grounded me a few times too! She was a strong woman, mother, grandmother and friend that will be deeply missed. Love you.
