Obituary of Darren Wade Lowell

Darren Wade Lowell, 55, of Lake Ariel, PA passed away on Thursday, May 20, 2021 at Geisinger Community Center, Scranton, PA. He worked as a loan officer for Benchmark Mortgage Group.

Darren got his master’s degree in mental health administration at Iona College. He will be remembered as a warm -hearted goofball with a love for history, movies, good wine, and golf. He loved being home with his fiancée and spending time with his children and sister.

The son of Calvin and Nancy (Wade) Lowell, he was born on January 12, 1966 in Machias, ME.

Darren is survived by his children, Ryan Lowell of Long Island City, NY and Rae Lowell of Philadelphia, PA; sister, Meg Steinard and her husband Gary of Westbrookville, NY; brothers, Brett Lowell and his wife Regina of Lexington, SC and Chris Lowell of Lemore, CA and fiancée, Norma Ericson of Lake Ariel, PA.

A Receiving of Friends will be held on Wednesday, May 26^th, 2021 from 2 to 4 PM at the Stroyan Funeral Home, 405 W. Harford St., Milford, PA 18337. Funeral services will follow at the funeral home on Wednesday, May 26^th, 2021 at 4 PM with Reverend Benjamin Willis officiating.
