Obituary of Jack T. Hoffmann
Jack T. Hoffmann, 93 of Mill Rift, PA and formerly from Stockholm, NJ and Venice, FL passed away Saturday May 1, 2021 at Kaplan Hospice House, Newburgh, NY. He was a retired Meat Manager for A&P, Sussex County, NJ. Jack was a U.S. Navy WWII veteran serving with Seabees. Jack was a Stockholm Volunteer Fireman, a Commander in the American Legion, and a volunteer for the Venice Hospital and Bon Secours Hospital in Port Jervis, NY.
The son of the late Herman (Hoy) and Mary (Tobin) Hoffmann, he was born May 6, 1927 in Hackensack, NJ. He was married to his high school sweetheart, the late Kathleen (Clark) Hoffmann. He was predeceased by his brother Robert Hoffmann.
Jack leaves behind his four children Linda Young (Ron), Helen Hoffmann, Barbara Hoffmann, and Jack Hoffmann (Linda); six grandchildren, Colleen Avis, Daniel Fenescey, Lauren Romano, Meredith Hettler, Kimberly Hoffmann and Jack Hoffmann and six great grandchildren, Finnley Avis, Farah, Phoebe and Stella Fenescey, Lennie and Esme Sherman, and Luca and Dominic Romano.
Burial for the immediate family will take place in Mill Rift Cemetery, Mill Rift, PA with military honors on August 1.
