Obituary of Patricia M. Swanson

Patricia M. Swanson, 88 of Milford, PA passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at Newton Medical Center, Newton, NJ. The daughter of the late Eugene and Dorthea (Clark) Baird she was born March 28, 1933 in Port Jervis, NY. Patricia married Donald J. Swanson on May 28, 1955, in Matamoras, PA.

Patricia enjoyed spending time with her fur baby “Anna”, was a devoted gardener, and loved watching her wildlife friends travel through the yard. Patricia was a supporter of the American Legion, Milford, PA and enjoyed activities sponsored by the Military Preservation Association and Red Ball Military Transport Club. She was often seen riding by her husbands’ side in their 1943 Ford GPW.

Patricia leaves behind her loving husband Donald of 65 years; four children Donald Swanson, Jr. and his wife Holly of Montague, NJ, Bret Swanson and his wife Nancy of Augusta, NJ, Teresa Swanson Fenton of Forked River, NJ, Amy Swistack and her husband Jim of Augusta, NJ; seven grandchildren: Kevin (and his wife Emily), Sara, Danielle, Carly, Devan, Brianna and Bradley.

Services and cremation will be private at the convenience of the family. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
