Obituary of Robert J. Rowe

Robert J. Rowe, 69, of Dingmans Ferry, PA passed away on Thursday, March 11, 2021 at Montefiore St. Luke's Cornwall, Newburgh, NY. He worked as a Building Engineer for AT&T then later at Lucent Technology in Murray Hill. He was a proud United States Army Veteran, a devout member of the Dingmans Ferry United Methodist Church and member of the Milford American Legion Post 139.

He will be remembered for his passion for cooking, having mastered the art of smoking meat. Robert took enjoyment in building, camping, hosting friends and family and was a proud patriot.

The son of Joseph R. and Frances (Montana) Rowe, he was born on July 10, 1951 in Newark, NJ. He was married to Eileen Rowe who preceded him in death on December 5, 2020.

Robert leaves behind his daughter, Cara Lynn Ashton and her husband Larry; brother, Donald Rowe; grandchildren, Emery Ashton, Scarlett Ashton, Clayton Ashton and Lily DelGuidice; stepchildren, Michael Vaughan and Heather Vaughan and many friends.

Friends may call at Stroyan Funeral Home, 405 W. Harford St., Milford, PA on Tuesday, March 16, 2021 from 11 am to 2 PM. Funeral services will follow at the funeral home 2 PM with Reverend Sungduk Kim officiating. Due to the COVID-19 state guidelines only fifteen guests will be allowed in at a time.

Cremation will take place at convenience to the family at MacLennan Hall Crematorium, Milford Twp., PA.
