God gained an angel, and l lost a beautiful man way too soon!!! ❤️❤️❤️ You have blessed my life, and even in your passing you continue to bless lives with the love that brings us all together! Worked and travelled with Richie for several years when he joined us on our team at Picatinny. What started as a co-worker relationship became a friendship that I will not forget. He enjoyed a laugh. Enjoyed a drink. Quite often at the same time after a hard day at the plant. He started taking up golfing about that same time and we'd use our 1/2 lunch for the on post driving range. And of course he would invite and take my wife and four daughters out for an evening boat ride on Lake Hopatcong in the summer. Someone who my whole family considered to be one of the nicest guys alive and a friend. Last spoke to him in the fall when he called one Saturday night. Too long ago. Will miss you Richie.

No words will ever express the emptiness left behind in losing someone Joey and I considered family. He lived life to the fullest and making plans for the next adventure was always just minutes away. He loved beyond words and filled each and everyone with love and laughter! His caring and concerning heart was always up and above that of just a friend. He loved like no other. We can only thank God for giving us such a wonderful friend...just wished we didn’t have to figure out how to move forward without him.

Oh my heart hurts. I know you are with your beloved beautiful wife. So many wonderful memories from the beginning of my life to now. One of my many favorites was when you’d walk in the bar while I was working and tell everyone even if they didn’t want to here it “That’s my other daughter, if you mess with her I’ll hurt you” I hope you’re enjoying a Rum and Coke with your Bride. You’ll be greatly missed.
Angela- my longest oldest friend. My whole heart aches for you. Know I’m praying for you and your family. All my love.

Crushed to hear my friend from long ago passed suddenly. We graduated NHS & I was happy to see that we enjoyed many of the same things. My condolences to the many family & friends who will miss him greatly; hoping the joy you shared in his life will make the grief fade quickly. He may be gone, but will never be forgotten. Well said Christine, brothers in the wind can never be parted. Looking forward to meeting up with him again and going on never-ending rides. Thank you for your service to our country, RIP my friend, fare thee well!

I remember when Mar first met Rich. Gosh it was so long ago.... They were so in love!!!
Since I first heard, disbelief and thoughts of Angela are constant. I pray for all of his family and friends to be comforted but mostly for Angela!! May Jesus cradle her in His care and give her comfort as only He can.
I do think of he and Marylynn together again.

Uncle Rich .. You are my hero. My hero. I’m sure you knew that. But incase you didn’t, you are my hero. You gave me my spark back, you taught me that life will forever go on, and the people who have passed will live on in our hearts. I don’t want to believe that this happened and to you especially, but it did. I love you more than you will EVER know. You are my hero you gave me a reason to live. And I will live my life to the fullest just for you . I promise. I love you so much

Words cannot describe how sadden we are in the loss of, you, Rich. You were loved by so many and you, Mar, and Angela gave me a second family. I will always cherish the memories of all the trips you guys had taken me on. The times were you came and picked me up late at night when Angela and I planned our own sleepovers without any of you knowing (and sometimes the weather was super bad out). You made it all happen. When I couldn't breathe from the rabbit, you would squeeze my nose just for a tad so I can breathe a bit. Watching you chase quick little Angela around the house and she would always get away! I will forever miss you and love you. Rest in Peace and enough the never ending flow of rum and coke!
