Jean M. Zekas, 85, of Matamoras, PA passed away on Friday, February 12, 2021 at Bon Secours Hospital, Port Jervis, NY. She was a retired Assembler for Kolmar Lab, Port Jervis, NY. The daughter of the late James Raymond and Flora (Jenkins) McGrellis, she was born September 27, 1935 in Kingston, PA. She was married to the late Matthew Zekas. Jean leaves behind her son, Matthew Zekas of Matamoras, PA; grandson Nathan; granddaughter Sabina; brother Raymond McGrellis of Crossville, TN and sister Mary Brezinski of Trucksville, PA. She was predeceased by her daughter Laurie Zekas and three brothers Frank McGrellis, Robert McGrellis and John McGrellis Services and cremation will be private at the convenience of the family. Burial will take place in Pringle Hill Cemetery, Summerville, PA. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (www.stjude.org).
