Obituary of Caroline K. Gilpin

Caroline K. Gilpin, 88, of Milford, PA passed away at home on January 12, 2021. The daughter of the late Lawrence J. and Dorothy P. (Smith) Geiger, Caroline was born on September 1, 1932 in Milford, PA. She was married to Edward Gilpin who preceded her in death on January 17, 1994. She was also preceded by her sisters, Marion Crawn and Bertha Fleming and brothers, Lawrence, Eddie, Samuel and Harry Geiger. Caroline leaves behind her sister, Jeanette Abbott of Matthews, NC; daughter, Gail Gilpin of Matamoras, PA; sons, Dennis Gilpin and his wife Lisa of Apex, NC and William Gilpin and his wife MaryAnn of Clermont, FL; 6 grandchildren, Jessie Gilpin of Kansas City, MO, Stephanie Piccini and husband Jared of West Chester, PA, Rebecca Serpe and her husband Steve, of Media, PA, Mackenzie Morris and her husband Sam of Wake Forest, NC, Taylor Mizerani and her husband Bruno of Cary, NC and Kayne Neugebauer of Matamoras, PA and 9 great-grandchildren. Caroline could be remembered working as a waitress at the Olde-Time Drug Store in Milford for years and her obsessions for playing Bingo 3 to 4 times a week! She was a great cook, great listener and had a great laugh. She will be missed by her family and friends very much. Cremation will be private at convenience to the family at MacLennan Hall Crematorium. Graveside services will be at Milford Cemetery, Dingman Twp., PA at convenience of the family. Memorial donations may be made to the Milford Fire Department, P.O. Box 1369, Milford, PA 18337. Arrangements were made by Stroyan Funeral Home, 405 W.
