James H. Overman, 90, of Matamoras, PA died on December 24, 2020 at home surrounded by loved ones. The son of Henry and Mary (Rooney) Overman, James was born in Brooklyn, NY on February 27, 1930. After graduating high school, James enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. James was well known and loved by his family, friends and the community and will truly be missed. He was preceded in death by his wife, Maureen (Kinsella) Overman; four sisters, Rosemary, Clare, Eleanor and Marie and two brothers, Harry and Jerry. He is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Cremation was private at convenience to the family. Memorial donations may be made to Pike County Humane Society, P.O. Box 255, Milford, PA 18337.
