Evelyn M. Hawkes, 94, of Matamoras, PA passed away on Saturday, December 12, 2020 at Milford Senior Care and Rehabilitation, Westfall Twp., PA. She worked as a seamstress for American Silk Label and worked as a day care provider at Olympus Gym. Evelyn was a member of the Milford United Methodist Church, Milford, PA. The daughter of the late Karl and Magdalene (Petrick) Gorzolka, she was born on September 6, 1926 in New York, NY. Evelyn leaves behind her children, Joseph Hawkes, Richard Hawkes, Magdalene Shear and Thomas Hawkes. Services are private at convenience to the family.
