August Pagano, 73 of Lords Valley, PA passed away Saturday, May 9, 2026 at Garnet Health Medical Center, Middletown, NY. He was a retired Trackman for the New York City Transit Authority. He was an avid martial arts enthusiast who refereed numerous tournaments and took great pride and joy in officiating these events. He had a deep appreciation for classic black-and-white films, cherished his family, and held a special love for his animals.

The son of the late Robert and Rosalyn (Simone) Pagano, he was born December 22, 1952 in Brooklyn, NY. August married Marilyn (Gonzalez) Pagano on September 28th of 1974 in Brooklyn, NY

August is survived by his wife Marilyn; three children Anthony Pagano and his wife Lisa; Salvatore Pagano and his wife Katie, Victoria Pagano; grandchildren: AJ, Bryan, Caitlin and her husband Ryan, and Luciana.

Services and cremation will be private at the convenience of the family.
