Richard Trapasso, 73 of Sparrow Bush, NY, went home to his Lord and Savior, Monday April 27, 2026, with his family by his side.

He worked for Cheap Tree Removals and was dedicated to his profession. Richard was an artist and sculptor and had exhibits in Soho NY, was a self-taught violinist, and loved his family with passion.

The son of the late Thomas and Helen Trapasso, he was born September 18, 1952, in New Hyde Park, NY. Richard married Christine on September 13, 1975.

Richard is survived by his wife Christine; his niece Farrah who treasured him as a father, her husband Michael, their two sons, Michael and Chase, his sister-in-law Michele, and his sisters Patricia and Gail.

 Calling hours will be held at Stroyan Funeral Home, 405 West Harford St., Milford, Pa on Friday, May 1, 2026, from 12 to 1 Pm. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on May 1, 2026, at 1 PM with Rev. Claude Whitley officiating.

Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Port Jervis, NY.
