Virginia C. Fredericks—a cherished mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend—passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 8, 2026, at the Milford Senior Care and Rehabilitation Center in Milford, Pennsylvania. She was 91 years old.

Born August 18, 1934, in Pond Eddy, New York, Virginia was the daughter of the late Herman and Blanche (Quick) Worzel. She shared a lifetime of love and devotion with her husband, Samuel C. Fredericks, remaining faithfully by his side for decades until his passing in 2016. Together, "Ginny" and Samuel built a vibrant family legacy, welcoming four children, eight grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren into a home filled with care.

For over twenty years, Ginny was a familiar and reassuring face to the students of the Eldred Central School District, where she served with dedication as a school bus driver. When she wasn't behind the wheel, she found her greatest joy in the soil and the kitchen. An avid gardener and a gifted baker, Ginny took immense pride in her "pristine property," tending to her home and gardens with the same meticulous love she gave to her family.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Jeff, John, Jim and Jane; eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren as well as a large host of friends.

A receiving of friends will be held on Thursday, March 12, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Stroyan Funeral Home, 405 West Harford Street, Milford, Pennsylvania 18337.

Memorial services will follow at 4:00 PM at the funeral home, with Reverend Nancy Vonderhorst officiating.
